Monte La Parte represents the cradle of our vineyards, located at an altitude from 300 to 350 m above sea level.
A single vineyard, 12 hectares (30 acres) is located all over the top of the hill enjoying a full sun exposure.
The roots lie in a calcareous and tuffaceous soil, poor of organic material
A meager soil, difficult to work in which can grow superb grapes.
The high minerality in the soil gives to the wine an excellent balance and complexity. This is the most authentic portrait of our work.
The most common vine training systems in Valpolicella are two: Pergola Veronese and Guyot.
In our vineyards we use both.
Perfect for Corvina and Corvinone grapes because it protects the bunches from sun burn, rain and wind
The bunches are in optimal position for the manual selection of the grapes, chosen for the "appassimento" (drying process of the grapes)
Increase the vines/hectares so less grapes on the plant
Efficient management of the foliage, thanks to a special system of containment wires
